Denver Broncos vs Green Bay Packers -9/22/19- NFL Over/under pick, prediction.

Denver Broncos versus Green Bay Packers

The Denver Broncos take their 0-2 start to the 2019 season to Green Bay to face the 2-0 Packers. Green Bay comes in a 7 ½ point favorite with an over/under of 43.

At quarterback for the Broncos is Joe Flacco, who has completed 69 percent of his passes with two touchdowns and one interception.

He’s been sacked five times and could be under considerable pressure from a Green Bay defense that has registered six sacks so far this season.

Flacco’s primary target will be Emmanuel Sanders, who has 16 catches for 184 yards and two touchdowns.

Courtland Sutton is a dependable second option with 11 catches and 160 yards.

Green Bay has been tough to throw against, allowing just 52 percent completion rate with a touchdown and three interceptions.

Denver’s best option will be on the ground with Royce Freeman, averaging 5.2 yards per game against the Packers rush defense, allowing 122 yards and 5.8 per carry over the first two.

When the Packers have the ball, look for a balanced attack led by quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who has completed 62.5 percent for 412 yards and three touchdowns.

He has been sacked seven times but goes up against a defense without a sack or interception and 71.7 percent completion percentage against.

Rodgers could have a field day finding Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

The ground game led by Aaron Jones and his 155 yards and 4.3 yards per carry should also be successful against the Broncos, who have allowed 125.5 yards per game.

Kickers Brandon McManus and Mason Crosby have been consistently among the best in the NFL.

McManus has hit 5-of-6 field goals in the early going and Crosby has converted on his only field goal attempt and all four extra points.

There is very little to indicate that the Broncos can compete for all four quarters in Lambeau Field.

The Packers have the advantage in nearly every area of the game.

This looks to be a very comfortable win for the Packers, as the Broncos will find little offensive success. Go with the under and Green Bay to cover.
